Part-time Position Available - 20+ Hours Per Week

A fantastic opportunity has opened for a Part-time Delivery Driver to join an Outer Eastern Melbourne Four Wheel Drive Specialist.

Patrolapart Pty Ltd has been operating for over 4 years. We have expanded our successful beginnings as a specialist Patrol dismantler to include new genuine and non genuine parts and a large range of 4WD accessory items. To support this expansion, a part-time position is currently available as a driver supporting the parts department. The successful candidate will receive training in spare parts operations and a potential career path into Automotive Parts Sales.

Initial training will include:
•Deliveries
•Stock receipting and despatch
•Issuing and packing parts
•Warehouse maintenance
•Security of stock
•Warehouse OH&S

Requirements of the successful candidate include:
•Manual drivers licence
•Ability to work as part of a team
•Reliability and honesty
•Forklift licence desirable
•Basic computer skills

If you are looking for a part-time position during school hours, here it is!

This position is Monday to Friday 10.00am-3.30pm, however actual working hours can be negotiated to suit. No previous warehouse experience is required.

Snow Drive 21/08/2010

A group of four vehicles (yikes, there was a 100 series amongst us!) headed out Saturday mid-arvo via Warburton, Cumberland Junction, stopping at Mount Matlock.  Only about 18 inches of snow at the firetower but it was snowing heavily as we approached the tower, and during our stop so we huddled under an awning. When the heavy snowing eased off, the anticipated snowfighting began and it was "on for young and old"!!  The cloud was low & thick, the snowfall very heavy, hence the dark photos.  We left the firetower about 5.00pm, drove onto Mount Terrible and as dusk fell, the thick cloud made navigating a challenge.  We dropped down towards Eildon, where we enjoyed a late fireside dinner at the Snobs Creek Hotel. A cruisey drive, nothing hard. Great company!!

Our New Mezzanine

The new mezzanine is well underway. Boys worked all weekend 7-8 Aug constructing the steelwork and the flooring was laid down this week! It will house a conference room, administration office, staff retreat area and store vehicle trim.

PATROLAPART began in January 2007 as a family business run by husband and wife team, Paul & Robyn both of whom have been involved in the four wheel drive movement since 1985 as passionate tourers and dismantlers.

PATROLAPART was created in response to customers' feedback and concerns of the dismantling industries' performance in customer service. Ethics form the cornerstone of our operation.

The business began primarily as a specialist Nissan Patrol dismantler. As PATROLAPART's positive reputation spread, our customer base grew to include customers requesting different products.

We listened to our customers' needs/requests and modified PATROLAPART's product range. As a result, we now offer genuine Nissan parts, aftermarket components, 4x4 accessories, mobile fridge solutions, camping equipment - all of this in addition to our secondhand components from dismantled Nissan Patrols (models 1988 on).

Matthew Sparkes joined the team in October 2009 as Sales Manager; he comes from Blackburn Nissan & Blackburn 4x4 with over 20 years experience in Nissan spare parts.

The extended product range increased our customer base and forced our move to bigger premises in November 2009 to 424 Maroondah Highway, Lilydale.
